I know what you're thinking: "How could anything possibly be worse than Barold?" Well, because Rodney exists.

Rodney is this list's sole representative for Smug villagers. This is because, generally speaking, people love Smug types (i.e. Marshal, Julian, Eugene, etc.). However, much like other personalities, it only works if the villager is cute and/or cool-looking. This is perhaps especially relevant to Smug villagers, who regularly hit on female villagers and/or invite them into their homes.

It's funny when others do it, but not with this... thing.

Rodney is literally everybody's vision of an internet troll, and his catchphrase ("le ham") only reinforces this idea. As far as his appearance is concerned - everything about him, from his unappealing blue color, to his huge mouth, to the tired, bagged eyes, all the way to that tuft of pink duck fluff on his forehead, is grotesque.

And lastly, remember that whole thing about how Smug types try to lure female villagers to their homes? Well, Rodney's home is a candy shop. To me, this is a massive red flag, as this house would really only be impressive to children.

In closing, Rodney is a greasy, slimy incel hamster, and his mere existence brings the rest of his species down. Avoid him at all costs.
