10 Wrestlers P*ssed At Their WWE 2K22 Rating

5. Rey Mysterio (2006)

WWE 2K22 King Woods
2K Games

Rating: 87

Despite the fact Rey is still riding high and putting on matches that defy his age, it's fair to say that 2006 was the apex of Mysterio's WWE career. That year, he won the Royal Rumble and then went on to become World Heavyweight Champion at WrestleMania 22 in a Triple Threat vs. Randy Orton and Kurt Angle.

Rey Rey is the subject of 2K's 'Showcase Mode' in this year's game, so he has several models from down throughout the years. His 2006 one has a lower rating than this fan predicted. It's 87, which doesn't sound too bad, but doesn't exactly scream "Mysterio was World Champ at the time" either.

Hmm.

Would it have killed 2K to bump Rey's score up a tad? His 2022 incarnation is rated at 90, for crying out loud, and nobody can say with a straight face that Mysterio is three points better nowadays than he was closer to his prime.
