11 Biggest Questions We're Asking About E3 2016

5. Is Rocksteady's Next Game Suicide Squad?

Back in 2012, an interview with comic legend Geoff Johns mentioned a Suicide Squad game was "in development right now," as Kotaku then noted it was on the "DC Entertainment slate as both a movie and a video game." Flash-forward to 2016 and the movie's certainly incoming, so where's the game?

In addition, a leaked listing caught on NEOgaf pointed out that Rocksteady were in the process of hiring someone to oversee multiplayer components, pointing to a game that's at least a departure from the solo adventures of the Arkham trilogy.

The only Arkham game to have competitive multiplayer was Origins, and Rocksteady have done their utmost to cast that aside - especially if the rumours of an HD-upgraded 'Arkham Collection' is true, as it doesn't even acknowledge Warner Bros. Montreal's work whatsoever.

Think again though - what if they're evolving their Arkham engine into a team-based Suicide Squad game? It fits perfectly with a multiplayer rumour and the need to continue where Batman left off mechanically, especially with the 'tag-team' moves that Arkham Knight had. Lastly, they've already built a playable moveset for Harley Quinn that was introduced in the DLC for Arkham Knight, and many other members of the Squad have been seen and rendered in past Arkham games, so it's not like they're unfamiliar with the lineup.

Keep your fingers crossed...
