9. Handsome Jack - Borderlands 2
The man of the hour... or rather, multiple hours, Borderlands 2 is quite long.
Borderlands 1 didn't have much for a story, or even a clear antagonist. Borderlands 2 more than made up for it.
Handsome Jack, the man with the continuous insults, not one breath of air is wasted on anything other than mocking and humiliation. He's hardly the Emperor when it comes to traditional pure evil, but he does plan to unleash a god-like eradicator in the hopes of wiping out all the scum across Pandora... including you.
It ultimately fails and results in Jack pleading for his life, at the mercy of the player character, his fate, your decision.
