4. Zeus - God Of War Series
Zeus is a father to many, a brother to others, but an a**hole to everyone. Somewhat, singlehandedly responsible for eliminating the Titans in the Great War. He's a proud man. Too proud.
His pride takes control of Zeus, the fear that he may be overthrown by one of his own sons, killed in the process. Paranoid of any of his spawn, he orders the death of his own son Ares, by the hand of Kratos. After Kratos takes Ares' place, he too is killed by Zeus' Blade of Olympus.
Things weren't going well for the olympian, Wolfpack leader, moving onto destroying Sparta and then preparing for the assault on Mount Olympus by Kratos and the Titans.
Sure, by the end of God of War 3 Kratos is no better than the gods, but in all fairness, they started it... to some extent.
