11 Reasons Lost Legacy Is Better Than Uncharted 4

5. Overblown Violence Makes Way More Sense

As an overarching criticism of Uncharted and Nathan Drake in general, many have pointed to the disconnect between the latter's happy-go-lucky nature, and the overwhelming bodycount he racks up. Personally I never understood this, as everyone from Indiana Jones to John McClane kill untold numbers of 'nameless goons' - it's just part of the action - yet remains a conversation worth having.

Still, Chloe and Nadine are far more believable in gunning their way around the world than Drake - at least in how they handle themselves when outside of combat.

I'll delve into some backstory spoilers here, but we know the death of Chloe's father clearly affected her outlook on the world, and Nadine comes from a bloodline of mercenaries, to which she was raised to take over the 'family business' once coming of age.

Both come across as morally grey characters from the get-go, and in turn, thematically it then makes way more sense they'd seek out the occasional lighthearted moment or joke in amongst the bloodshed.
