While we still have no idea what the hell Rocksteady's next game is - whether it's Superman, Justice League or as recent reports suggest, a player-created superhero game - it's all but confirmed that WB Montreal are working on a Batman title, and not only that, but it's going to be based on the Court of Owls comic storyline.

The studio went through a few troubled projects before landing on this one, including a Damian Wayne Batman game and a Suicide Squad tie-in, but rumours and reports are steadily suggesting that this Court of Owls adaptation will be the next project that releases. The employees at WB Montreal have effectively confirmed this as well, posting a whole bunch of Court of Owls iconography and merch on social media.

The timeline suggests it should be well along in development by now and due an official announcement, but then again, that's what we've been saying for well over a year.
