11 Video Games Where You're The Bad Guy - Commenter Edition

9. Plague Inc.

Plague Inc.
Ndemic Creations

The disturbingly relevant Plague Inc. takes the third spot on this list as the game calls on you to create and evolve a virus with the end goal of taking out the human race. Some of you guys did bring up that pathogens aren’t necessarily bad given they aren’t aware of the evil they’re doing--a parallel worth drawing to Alex Mercer in Prototype, but look, it’s still not great.

You have to hand it to Ndemic Creations, though, as they did add a new game mode that lets players stop an outbreak. They also donated a quarter of a million bucks to COVID relief efforts so that’s pretty cool, you know, off the back of their game that has a higher body count than any on this list.
