11 Weird Video Game Crossovers You Won’t Believe Happened
10. Skate 3 – Isaac Clarke
EA’s Skate proved a big hit with players when it first launched in 2007. Gaining two sequels and a spin-off, its open-world skateboarding was well-received, filling a gap left open by the decline of Activision’s Tony Hawk’s series.
Fans have been crying out for a fourth entry ever since but back in 2010, Skate 3 came with a rather surprising bonus. Upon entering the code “deadspacetoo” within the cheats menu, players learned they could unlock Isaac Clarke, protagonist of acclaimed horror franchise Dead Space.
Acting as part of a marketing campaign for DS2, Isaac was available within the Free Play mode and even came with a special skateboard. Deciding he’s had enough of fighting Necromorphs and just wants to unwind, who can honestly blame him.
