12 Best DC Superhero Video Games

12. Green Lantern: Rise Of The Manhunters

Yes yes, I hear you - the 2011 film was absolute rubbish - but the game was actually fairly decent. Rise of the Manhunters was a co-op hack-n-slash game in the vein of God of War, with the player (and a buddy, if they so desire) taking on the roles of Hal Jordan and Sinestro to avert an impending crisis spearheaded by the Manhunters. The plot is pretty cookie-cutter, but the gameplay itself was fun enough to warrant a quick rental (back when you could actually rent things). The imagery too was really inventive, as Jordan and Sinestro got to use different energy constructs as weapons in various unique manners. Combine that with a few fun on-rails flying segments and some grandiose - if not whacky - set-pieces, and it makes for an entertaining product, even if it could've been a lot better.
