When Mister Freeze was set to return in Gotham Knights, many expected another epic showdown, akin to your battle with the cryonic supervillain in Batman: Arkham City.

Although these confrontations are sensational visually, they're... really freaking annoying.

In your first encounter, Freeze is reasonably difficult, tries to blast you with his beam cannon and freeze you to the ground.

But when you reach Blackgate Prison, the chilling scientist demands a rematch, this time armed with a robotic spider tank. When you see how little health your strongest attacks knock off this mechanoid, you realise this fight is going to take a looooong time to complete.

To do some proper damage, you'll need to get up real close, smashing away at the machine's legs. Of course, the longer you are in Freeze's proximity, the more likely his robot will stomp on you. Because it's difficult to decipher which direction Freeze is going to slam his mecha in, you're never prepared to get out of the way.

What makes this bout so arduous is how early it happens in the game. Considering you can face this mega boss in the first chapter, the player hasn't had a chance to wrap their head around the most effective combos and attacks yet.
