The closest Mario Mario ever came to terror before was those pesky boo ghosts who would occasionally crop up in his adventures across the Mushroom Kingdom (who, admittedly, had some creepy laughs). It was his brother, Luigi Mario, who usually dealt with that stuff. So it seemed to be with his most recent "proper" game, Super Mario Galaxy 2, on the Wii. For the most part the came is a brightly coloured jaunt across the cosmos, with our heroic plumber-turned-astronaut leaping from planet to planet, each populated by a different bunch of quirky characters. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xu0vtkU02uM When gamers leapt over to the Shiverburn Galaxy, they knew something was different. The worlds were a little tougher than the ones they'd previously come across, as you leap across lava pits and narrowly avoid tumbling into black holes. Most worrisome of all, however, was the feeling of being watched. A feeling that was totally justified since, looking up at the cliffs surrounding you, it turns out you are being watched. Skeletal silhouettes with distended arms and huge eyes peer down at you, seemingly benevolent, but undoubtedly creepy. It doesn't help that the level's code gives the creatures the label "HellValleySkyTree"...
