12 Most Difficult Gaming Moments Of 2013

7. Mundus - DmC: Devil May Cry

Vergil might be the last boss in Ninja Theory's underrated DmC reboot, but he's for sure not the hardest. That honour goes to the penultimate boss, Mundus, a gigantic monster who may be a little slow and lumbering, but his attacks cause huge damage, and so caution is necessary. The key to defeating Mundus in many respects is ensuring that you hop between the rooftops to avoid attacks such as Mundus' spit, and failing that, just keep moving, especially in the air, to avoid his various slam-type attacks. It certainly doesn't help that Mundus has two energy bars, but if you keep on your toes and don't sit still for more than a nanosecond, you will eventually be able to get the better of him. And the good news? Vergil is a breeze compared to this beast.
