Sly Cooper is an anthropomorphic raccoon who is the descendant of a long line of master thieves. As the leader of The Cooper Gang, he and his companions, Bently the turtle and Murray the hippo, perform elaborate heists around the world to steal from other thieves while they are being pursued by Inspector Carmelita Fox.

Fans and critics loved the chemistry between the main characters and its stealth focused platforming while incorporating a visually satisfying film noir and comic book art style. But it was the cunning and devious ring tailed thief that was the run away star of the show.

Unfortunately, Sly’s last appearance was back in his fourth game, Thieves In Time, back in 2013. Plans have been made to make a tv show and film about Sly and the gang, but there has been no update on how production on either of these projects has been going for a while.

Regardless, Sly is remembered as an iconic character of the PlayStation 2, and no matter whether its in a new game or on the big screen, the return of Major Mugshot would be a major score for the character and his fans.
