3. Batman: Arkham Asylum - Arkham City
Rocksteady went from zero to lightspeed when they managed to get ahold of the Batman license, firing out not one but two perfectly-formed Batman games. Although a large swathe of fans often debate whether Asylum is better than City overall, they're both regarded as some of the best uses of The Dark Knight's mythos in his entire history. This is a great reference that many fans didn't even spot until City was out either - being that you had to plant some explosives on a certain wall to gain access to Quincy Sharp's office, where within there were the plans for the citywide expansion of Gotham - labelled as 'Quincy Sharp's Gotham City proposal'. It's pretty amazing to think that not only were Rocksteady handed the keys to the hovercar when it came creating the Arkham franchise in the first place, but they already had the sequel planned out long before it became the critically-loved behemoth it is today.
