4. Losing To A Destiny Boss After 45+ Minutes
Considering the size and scope of Bungie's latest cash-sucking powerhouse, there are plenty reasons to turn the other cheek and walk away - but one of the biggest for fans and those who were teetering on the edge of throwing up a middle finger is losing to a bullet-sponge boss after a straight half hour of unloading ammo into its face. The thing is though, apart from some of the Raid-specific encounters (themselves locked behind a level-cap) every other boss encounter boils down to this idea of just holding the right trigger until your gun's empty, dancing around whatever projectile attack is coming your way and rinse-repeating until it's all over. So factor in that smaller enemies will constantly respawn around the 'big bad' throughout, the instant-kill nature of the boss's attacks catching you whenever you're trying to revive a teammate, and if you fluff it after huge amounts of time have gone by, this is the very reason Destiny remains one of the most returned titles in gaming history following its initial release.
