10. All Those Scientists - Inside
The final 15 minutes of Inside are a thing of demented beauty, as the boy protagonist discovers "The Huddle", a fleshy blob made of human arms and legs.
The boy is soon enough absorbed into the Huddle, giving the player control of the mass as they attempt to escape the shady facility they're contained within.
The Huddle eventually manages to smash through a glass window, sending a torrent of water into the main office area, which kills a number of scientists watching, while the Huddle also kills a few more people as it careens through the window, given its immense size.
Though Inside's finale has been divisive among gamers, there's no denying the incredible jaw-dropping quality of that stunning escape sequence. After playing a vulnerable victim for so much of the game, the player now gets some grotesque agency of their own, and it sure ain't pretty.
