Onimusha, like Tenchu is set in the old east, that however is where the similarities end. This game is most certainly not a stealth based game, instead it is filled with super powers, magical elemental attacks and a modern day sub-plot. The battle system in Onimusha is more closely matched to a Dynasty Warriors title; hack, slash, stab and set fire to stuff. Starring action hero Jean Reno (to appeal to the western market apparently) battles take place both in modern Paris and in feudal Japan, that coupled with a spattering of mini games gives the game a fair amount of variation, certainly enough to keep you entertained.
