11. Luke's Aunt & Uncle - Fallout: New Vegas

Chances are we'll still be finding easter eggs and references in Bethesda/Obsidian's open-world games for the next few decades, but if you head to the town of Nipton in Fallout: New Vegas and look around in front of one of the dilapidated houses, you'll find a couple of charred bodies with recognisable names.

Owen and Beru are the names of both these unfortunate souls, and of Luke's aunt and uncle, who were murdered by the Empire at the beginning of A New Hope.

Sadly, there's no way to bring them back, but at least they weren't turned into some horrific radioactive creature, either.
