4. Mister Sinister - Deadpool

Despite the fact High Moon Studios' Deadpool nails the zaniness and metahumour of the source material, this hack-and-slash third-person shooter fails to come together. Due to repetitive combat, stale level design, and unfair difficult spikes, Deadpool is sure to test the patience of the biggest Marvel devotees.

To top it all off, Deadpool drops the ball at the very end. Before tangling with Mister Sinister, the ridiculously named supervillain summons a legion of clones on our wisecracking anti-hero. Once the Merc' with the Mouth makes short work of these doppelgängers, Sinister makes his way onto the battlefield. Since the demented geneticist has more superpowers than almost any character in comics, this fight should be one for the ages.

But that's not what we got. Not only is this "boss battle" impossible to lose, Sinister is defeated with the press of a button. After that, a quick-time event is triggered, causing Wade Wilson to smoosh the master mutant to death.

Ending the main campaign in such a juvenile way may be on brand, but it's still aggravating to see a powerhouse like Mister Sinister go out with a whimper.
