12 Video Games Marketed Entirely On Boobs

12. Dead Or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball

The Boobs: So dedicated were Team Ninja to creating a "realistic" beach volleyball game that they devoted an entire department of their team to studying breast physics and ensuring that they were accurate. Given that there's not much more to the game than playing volleyball with the top-heavy femme fatales from the Dead or Alive series or perving over them in the game's camera mode, that's probably a fairly sensible allocation of resources. One of the game's key features outside of the volleyball itself is the ability to buy increasingly smaller, more revealing bikinis for the game's well-endowed roster. But Was The Game Any Good?: Surprisingly, yes. The central volleyball game was actually pretty fun, and though the game is an easy target for feminists to attack, credit to Team Ninja for actually putting more effort into their assignment than they probably needed to. The emphasis on jiggling breasts is shameless, but it's not a particularly sexually crass game, even with some of the more suggestive positions the characters sometimes put themselves in (such as shimmying along a coconut tree). Hell, the game did well enough to get a sequel, which was nevertheless received with considerably less enthusiasm.
