Be warned: this game has been known to destroy relationships just as much as cement them. In Mario Kart anything can happen. Any player has a chance of winning and smugly rubbing their victory in their opponent's faces. There's no other game that has the power to bring out the worst in people in the best way possible, turning normally polite and courteous folks into seething, swearing balls of rage in a matter of minutes. It can get dangerously competitive, but the euphoria of victory is only diminished slightly by the torrents of verbal abuse it inevitably sends your way. It's a game that's for just about anyone. It's extremely easy to get into and its bright, colourful visuals combined with its upbeat music make it feel safe and welcoming. Well, at least until the swearing starts, anyway.
