5. South Park: The Stick Of Truth
The Stick Of Truth is a must-play for any fan of Trey Parker and Matt Stone's hugely successful comedy series - after all, it's far from a lazy cash-in. Instead every effort was made to ensure that playing the game felt like you were in an episode of the show, with the duo writing the game themselves as well as voicing the characters. They even had a hand in designing it alongside the programmers as well. And the end result felt really authentic, from its intentionally dodgy animation to its weird obsession with farts and irrational hatred of Canada. Its full of little references to the show that fans will enjoy and its light RPG elements make it a perfect entry point for the genre. Stick Of Truth is one of the funniest games ever made and it's very user-friendly. If you enjoy watching South Park together, then it stands to reason that you'll enjoy experiencing The Stick Of Truth together as well.
