Wii Sports is intentionally basic and for that reason it's one of the best games to use to introduce someone to gaming. You don't need to memorise button inputs to play it, as it's all based around motion controls. Depending on the person they'll either try to swing the Wii remote in a dignified manner like it's a real tennis racquet, or they'll swing their arms around like a loon and hope for the best. So if your significant other doesn't mind looking a bit daft and has a bit of a competitive streak, then they'll definitely enjoy Wii Sports. If they're a bit clumsy then it may be best to use that trusty Wii remote wrist strap, as getting hit in the face with one really sucks. They're surprisingly sturdy and it's safe to say that your face won't be coming out on top in that situation.
