10. Konami's Wai Wai World

Konami released a strange, Japan-only NES platformer called "Konami Wai Wai World", which basically means "Konami's Noisy World".

Creatively-named androids Konami Man and Konami Lady are sent out by Twinbee's Dr. Cinnamon to rescue six trapped gaming heroes. Wai Wai World runs the gamut from the ordinary, such as Castlevania's Simon Belmont and Goemon of Mystical Ninja fame, to the outlandish, such as a Moai statue for Gradius.

Perhaps in a bid to create the weirdest game they possibly could, Konami was even able to license and let you play as two characters from their previous movie branded games- Mikey from The Goonies, and King Kong.
