13 Game Of Thrones Actors You Didn't Realise Were In Popular Video Games
12. Max Von Sydow (Three-Eyed Raven) - Ghostbusters & Skyrim (Vigo The Carpathian & Esbern)
Though you might have completely forgot that Lord San Tekka himself was in Game of Thrones (he replaced Struan Rodger, the original Three-Eyed Raven), Max Von Sydow not only reprised his role as Vigo for the Ghostbusters video game, but also chimed in as loveable NPC, Esbern.
Both roles ended up meaning a whole lot to millions of fans for each franchise. Firstly, in the Ghostbusters game, it tends to be thought of as "the Ghostbusters 3 we never got" thanks to the cast and writing teams being much the same as on the original. Vigo's various lines all land far better here than in the fairly naff Ghostbusters 2, and then there's his awesome role in Skyrim.
Bethesda have always been one for rewarding those who scratch away at the surface, and Esbern is a completely optional companion you can recruit - even coming with a handful of quests before being gifted a specific potion, before you go off to fight Paarthurnax for the big finish.
