The Hype: Almost nothing is actually known about the game beyond the fact that it's being developed by Crystal Dynamics (who did such fine work on the rebooted Tomb Raider franchise), and therefore will likely be a third-person action-adventure title. That's enough, honestly.

Why It'll Disappoint: Licensed games are, more often than not, terrible, and though Crystal Dynamics has done an absolutely remarkable job with the Tomb Raider series, it's not exactly easy to see how that success will translate to the world of gravity-defying superheroes.

It's a game everyone will want to like, sure, but the Tomb Raider games work so well because Lara is grounded and vulnerable, yet making the gameplay feel exciting but also suitably limited for superheroes will probably be quite the challenge. Oh, and it'll most likely be open world, right?
