13 Most Frustrating Aspects Of E3 That Never Change
3. "We're Committed To Gamers"
There is inherently nothing wrong with developers saying that they are committed to their players. But it becomes one of the most annoying things imaginable, when the presentation grinds to a halt to remind everyone that that is the case, always with the exact same wording, regardless of which conference you are watching.
It becomes especially annoying when it more than once in a single showcase. It's gotten to the point where it has been repeated so much that it has lost the impact and is ultimately just a throw-away line in the bucket of jargon used to fill space.
Nothing wrong with the sentiment, but after a decade of the same phrase being paraded around, please hire someone to come up with something better.
