13 Video Games That Are Even More Frustrating Than Flappy Bird

6.Armored Core

The staple giant robot game series for the past few console generations, Armored Core and the 14 games after it rightly deserve to the constant recognition and respect they get. With better graphics and stories with each passing title, as well as new features and modes, the AC series has grown over the course of 16 years. However, despite all of the needed changes two big frustrations have come with nearly every game: controls, and taking care of the mech itself. Armored Core tasks the player with always trying to find the best combination of parts to build the ultimate mech, but this always comes with a price. While players have a fairly large range of parts to work with (selection of weapons, body parts, internal workings, etc. etc.), the management of these moving parts becomes bothersome rather quickly. While customisation is a huge part of the game, the patience that is required to craft the perfect mech without going over weight limitations, or energy consumption limitations, or shutting down due to too many parts, can make even the most skilled player annoyed and break their controller in a fit of rage. Add that to clonky and confusing controls, and your AC can easily become a big mess.
