13 Video Games That Must Appear At E3 2017
9. Death Stranding (Actual Gameplay)
Hideo Kojima dropped one Hell of a bombshell with last year's E3 reveal of his new IP, Death Stranding, and followed up with another mind-melting cinematic teaser at the VGAs in December.
While most prominent journalists believe the game will probably hit stores in late 2018 or more likely 2019, it's important to remember that Kojima has a storied history of showcasing a game's development for many years before it finally hits stores.
As such, maybe, just maybe, we'll get to see what the presumably third-person action gameplay looks like this June.
How Likely Is It?: This one's a bit of a crap shoot, really. Hideo is known for dropping gameplay years before release, but he may also take a more cautious strategy with something that isn't Metal Gear.
It's a distinct possibility, but at the same time maybe we'll just get another brilliantly, infuriatingly obtuse cinematic. 5/10
