7. Modern Warfare Remastered Gets A Solo Release... 8 Months Too Late

When Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered was first announced at last year's E3, fans of the classic FPS were naturally overjoyed, before it was revealed that the game wouldn't be sold standalone, but instead only to those who purchased a premium copy of Infinite Warfare.

Well, some eight months later, the game is finally available standalone, long after most players have stopped caring due to Activision's blatantly anti-consumer practices, selling for an outrageous $40/£35 no less, which has only made it even less of an appealing prospect.

While Activision no doubt raked in truck-fulls of money from desperate players who fell for their initial bundle scheme, PR-wise it was a terrible move for the company.
