13 Worst Video Games Of 2017 (So Far)

3. Ghost Recon: Wildlands

Ubisoft

At some point you have to imagine Ubisoft will just crank out The Game To End All Games, so cross-pollinated is their lineup becoming, that everything is blurring into one.

For Wildlands, it's ostensibly the gaming version of a bag of pork scratchings: Basic, comforting but ultimately shameful unless you're drunk. Wildlands' gameplay is literally - and I do mean literally - a blend of The Division's third-person combat, Far Cry Primal's owl-drone mechanic and Watch Dogs' shoddy driving physics. Nothing more, nothing less.

You'll see and feel the seams tearing apart the second you start to move a character or drive any vehicle, and although it can be a laugh with a few friends, ultimately this is a very poor effort from one of the industry's veteran developers.
