14 Awesome Summer 2017 Video Games You Probably Missed
1. Knack II
And finally, it's perhaps the most pleasant surprise of the entire summer, a video game sequel nobody really asked for that's...actually pretty damn great.
Knack II is, of course, the follow-up to the mediocre PS4 launch title from Crash Bandicoot's Mark Cerny, but it's clear that Cerny and his team have listened to the vocal criticism and as such have delivered an effortlessly superior platforming follow-up.
Yes, the plot and characters are still a total afterthought, but the moment-to-moment combat and traversal in the surprisingly beefy 10-hour campaign are extremely satisfying for the most part.
With a fairer level of difficulty than the original and the addition of a snazzy co-op mode, not to mention its budget price, this is a most unlikely of franchises that now deserves your support.
