5. Steven Ogg - Trevor Phillips (Grand Theft Auto V)
Could there be a better GTA character than the Trevor Phillips? He's a perfect embodiment of the sociopathic tendencies gamers tend to commit whilst roaming around the franchise's open arenas, yet is also a hugely charismatic anti-hero with multiple motivations and traits that make him evermore endearing to the fanbase - this all after he murdered one of GTA IV's best loved characters. It takes a lot to garner that much praise from the community and critics alike, but as soon as you're introduced to Trevor's antics it becomes instantly understandable as to why he's earned such an iconic status. He's written superbly, given the best material to work with, and has the perfect voice and likeliness in Steven Ogg, and that's before you're treated to his hilarious character-switch scenes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9xXmndx1mgY Ogg, himself a much-loved online personality, was simply born to play this character. The role is absolutely unchangeable and franchise-defining in its own right - it's just that good.
