9. Sam Witwer - Starkiller/Galen Marek (Star Wars: The Force Unleashed)
Sam Witwer is no stranger to the Star Wars franchise, but it may surprise some that before he was the new voice of Darth Maul in The Clone Wars, the actor took on the likeness and voice of Galen Marek in The Force Unleashed series. Providing the mo-cap and voice for the would-be protagonist, Witwer channelled the frustration and confusion that became the hallmarks of the character with great sincerity, and was a huge contributing factor in the widespread praise that was had for the franchise's narrative debut. https://youtu.be/Ic7bR9IXWRQ?t=3401 Though this series may no longer be canon, it's still a worthwhile interpretation of the Star Wars mythos that was made evermore enjoyable by the acting talent on display - Witwer being the key highlight.

In his current role, Ewan incorporates his love of cinema, comic books, and history into written pieces and video essays for WhatCulture's Film & TV channel, as well as WhatCulture Gaming and WhatCulture Horror, with a particular focus on nineties-era Dad Movies, old school Westerns, and Golden Age Hollywood Noir. John Carpenter is his fave, and he thinks Batman Beyond should never have been cancelled. If that's your vibe, you'll probably like his stuff.
