13. Alduin - The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (2011)
Self-proclaimed God of the dragons and first born of Akatosh, the 'modest' Alduin has an ego large enough to rival that of a certain Rap artist, and he pulls no punches in letting the world know just how talented he is. The consequences of having to share the planet with an arrogant, eternally pissed off dragon are much worse than awful music however - fiery death and destruction are more Alduin's thing. From the very get-go on your journey through Skyrim as the Dragonborn, Alduin makes you fully aware that he intends to make every living thing his bitch, and laughs in the face of the so-called prophecy that predicts his death at the hands of your puny character. Post-intro, the jet black dragon will swoop in from time to time for a quick sparring match, promptly followed by more snide, self-important drivel about how pathetic you are and how powerful he is. He may not always be present while you're questing your way around the frozen continent, but the threat of his existence is felt wherever you go. Wiping that toothy grin off his face in Sovngarde (it's basically Valhalla) is the satisfying payback for all of those verbal beat-downs he's subjected you to.
