4. God Of War 4 Has A Norse Mythology Setting
The Announcement: In line with the "leaked" God of War 4 concept art that emerged last month, the title will have a Norse mythology setting, while Kratos now rocks an awesome beard and carries a giant axe.
How Likely Is It?: This one just fits incredibly well: though many were hoping that we might get a new protagonist, Kratos is such an iconic character that it makes so much more business sense to retain him as the series' lead.
The setting would also be a welcome change from the norm, and help distinguish Kratos' first outing on the PS4 from what came before.
Considering that the release dates for the four main GoW titles have been 2005, 2007, 2010 and 2013, we are certainly due a new game within the next 12 months, so there's not much reason for it to miss E3. Also, considering that creator David Jaffe originally planned to take the series the Norse route, the leak is extremely easy to believe. It's happening.
