4. Assassin's Creed: Origins
Ready for Assassin's Creed to return?
Ubisoft certainly think so, as in a move that's kinda the only thing they can get away with, they're taking the action all the way back to Ancient Egypt, soft rebooting the series and letting you discover just how the Assassin Order was formed in the first place.
Origins comes two years after AC: Syndicate, which in itself was the last in a stupidly over-marketed string of annual instalments, each one struggling to be remotely memorable outside of bugs and glitches.
Assumedly, given enough time, Ubi can put together an Assassin's Creed name worthy of those original instalments, though just how much they'll have changed the signature/stale gameplay should get detailed at E3.
