14 Most BROKEN Video Games Of The Decade
9. Aliens: Colonial Marines
The game that felt as though it had killed the Alien IP in gaming forever (until Alien Isolation miraculously resurrected it a year later), Colonial Marines was a straight-up laughing stock at launch.
Not only were launch day graphics completely different to what was advertised and even demoed at trade shows beforehand, and not only was actor Michael Biehn phoning it in when reprising his role as Hicks, but glitches and animation bugs were everywhere.
The reason?
Well, as it turned out in July 2018, the coders had overlooked literally one digit in the game's files, that caused the Xenomorph A.I. to freak out.
PC modders tweaked this and had a substantially better time, but Colonial Marines remains a crunching disappointment, a sign of things to come when it came to Gearbox's performance across the last 10 years, and a franchise black mark we're better off moving on from.
