14 Most Hotly-Anticipated Video Games Still To Come In 2016

For a game essentially about meaty people doing meaty stuff like shooting the sh*t out of aliens, the Gears of War series is surprisingly profound. The fourth entry looks set to continue this sturdy pattern, albeit with less chunky character models, a new cast of characters and an entire new enemy threat.

There will be more weapons to play around with, improved melee mechanics that let you counter a player trying to stick a chainsaw in your head, and (*drum roll*) weather conditions. Yep, weather will apparently be a huge thing in GoW 4, with so-called 'windflares' being an environmental hazard that can kill both you and your enemies.

If previous Gears are anything to go by, this should be a perfect balance of engaging single-player with glorious multiplayer.
