14 Simple Things That Could Ruin The Biggest Upcoming Video Games
7. It Runs On The Creation Engine - Starfield/The Elder Scrolls VI
After the fallout (sorry) of Fallout 76's disastrous launch, it's fair to say that even the hardcore Bethesda cheerleaders are struggling to convince themselves that the company's janky Creation Engine is viable for upcoming next-gen releases Starfield and The Elder Scrolls VI.
The engine is rife with issues - namely tying physics to the framerate and inviting a plethora of bugs - such that it's extremely tough to be optimistic about this engine being used for games due to release on next-gen platforms a few years from now.
Given the fundamental issues with the engine and Bethesda's stubborn refusal to switch to a more modern one, it's certainly advisable to wait for reviews before throwing down some cash for either of these games.
