14 Things We Learned At The Game Awards 2017

2. Yes, Dreams Still Exists

Considering that Dreams was initially unveiled way back at the 2013 PlayStation Meeting alongside the PS4, it's not terribly surprising that many fans assumed Media Molecule's ambitious sandbox game was effectively vaporware.

However, a new trailer dropped for the game during The Game Awards, again confirming its visual panache and the sheer number of absurd scenarios the player is able to create.

It remains to be seen whether players will truly have the freedom to create most anything they can think of, and the lengthy development cycle is certainly a justified source of worry, but at least they're taking their time rather than rushing it out the door.

Still no release date beyond 2018, but apparently more will be revealed about the game at PSX, so watch this space.
