5. Age Of Empires IV Is Happening

With Age of Empires III having been released way back in 2005 and a remaster of the original game recently being announced, a fourth entry into the series has certainly been long overdue, and now it's finally been confirmed.

Though there was no information given beyond the brief announcement trailer below, the mere fact that Microsoft Studios has confirmed the game's existence is certainly enough for now.

For many kids growing up in the late 1990s, Age of Empires was their introduction to PC gaming, and in addition to the upcoming remaster, due out on 19 October, they'll soon enough have a wholly brand new title to sink their teeth into.
