6. Super Smash Bros. Switch

The most recent announcement at Nintendo's latest Direct, we now know Super Smash Bros. is finally coming to Switch.

This news came after a handful of rumours and the rather tantalising realisation that Nintendo secretly patched in support for GameCube controllers on the Switch last year - mainly so you'd have no excuse not to have the biggest showdown possible.

At this stage it's unknown whether SSB Switch is a whole new game built from the ground up or a port of the underplayed Wii U release. My money's on a port, as everything from Captain Toad to Hyrule Warriors is also making the leap across, but with Nintendo also kicking off their paid Switch Online service later this year, they need a title as meticulously polished as this to justify the price.
