15 Best Amusement Parks In Video Games

11. Ryan Amusements - Bioshock 2

final fantasy 7 Golden saucer
2K

Ryan Amusements is one of the most interesting levels throughout the entire Bioshock series and it takes place in the criminally unloved Bioshock 2. Look, Bioshock 2 is easily the weakest of the trilogy but it's still a good game.

Anyway, Ryan Amusements is an underwater amusement park dedicated to Andrew Ryan, his philosophy, and Rapture as a whole.

Ryan Amusements was built as a form of propaganda for the children of Rapture. It was designed to make Rapture and Andrew Ryan look great whilst making the surface world look awful. Nowhere is this clearer than with the centrepiece ride of the amusement park, Journey to the Surface. This ride shows off just how awful the outside world is in an attempt to stop kids from leaving Rapture.

As is most of the city at the point of Bioshock 2, the ride is broken so you'll have to walk through the attraction whilst fighting off bad guys.

The level also does a good job at summarising the history of Rapture in the Rapture Memorial Museum. It's great if you skipped out on the first game but decided to pick up the sequel for some reason.
