Forza 4 was the first time developers at Turn 10 studios fully perfected the racing title's formula. Delivering potentially the tightest and most robust set of features and mechanics ever seen in a Forza game, this racing sim set a new standard for the genre on Microsoft's console. Although previous entries in the franchise had been exceptional up until this point, this fourth game was the first time the series had the ability to take the player's breath away with its gorgeous and intense racing experience. Unfortunately, the game's sequel couldn't quite recapture the wealth of content on show in this fourth entry, and felt sadly like a step back for both the developers and Microsoft's Xbox One. Fortunately though the upcoming Forza 6 looks set to reclaim the racing crown that to many people is still being held by the Xbox 360's Forza Motorsport 4.
