15 Best Xbox Games Of The Decade (So Far)

4. The Witcher 2: Assassins Of Kings

Although The Witcher 3 is still taking the gaming world by storm more than a month after its first release, developers at CD Projekt Red had already long since cemented themselves as a reliable and talented company in the eyes of players by delivering two other equally impressive high fantasy experiences. Unfortunately for console players though, the original Witcher wasn't a particularly well known property even after years on sale. With the first game only releasing on PC, for the sequel the developers were able to create a deeper and more refined experience, and better yet, sought a wider release on both PC and the Xbox 360. The added audience gained by the second game's release on Microsoft's console opened up the franchise up to a whole different market, and because the title itself provided players with such a rewarding and detailed RPG experience, the developers were able to break the series into the mainstream, paving the way for the third game's monumental success.
