15 Best Xbox Games Of The Decade (So Far)

12. Dead Rising 3

The Dead Rising series has always been fondly remembered by Xbox players. With the franchise originating on the 360 all the way back in 2006 before going multiplatform with the series' second effort, Capcom finally brought the franchise back to Microsoft exclusively for the release of the third game on Xbox One. And just like the original game, Dead Rising 3 gave potential buyers a solid reason to pick up Microsoft's console on its first launch. Boasting some of the most extravagant zombie killing mayhem of the entire series, the ridiculous open world anarchy completely recaptured the essence of what made the original Xbox 360 title so memorable in the first place. While the game's "girtty" visual aesthetic had hardcore fans of the series worrying that the game might have lost the quirky sense of humour that resonated so much with players, this third release had plenty of inventive and goofy ways to deal zombie carnage, and as a result stood out as one of the biggest draws for those who still hadn't decided whether to pick up an Xbox One as their next console.
