With four months left of 2015 and some of the biggest games yet to actually release, this year is shaping up to be one of the craziest yet when it comes to outlandish, milestone gaming moments. While last year was all about broken releases and developer meltdowns, 2015 has truly seen a ridiculous amount of controversy over the past eight months, with game delays, announcements and industry implosions seemingly stealing the headlines every other day. Although not all of these moments have been particularly kind to us, there were still plenty of times this year where the everyday gamer managed to beat out the larger publishers at their own game. Through a mix of victories and missed opportunities, 2015 has been an absolute roller-coaster ride of some of the greatest and some of the worst gaming news the industry has ever seen. With the losses of big companies and certain defining individuals, the restructuring of current publishers and a push towards VR, 2015 has seriously marked a turning point for the medium as a whole, and these 15 WTF moments were the biggest indicators of the industry's budding evolution into something new.
