1. Mother 3 Gets A Western Release On Switch

The Prediction: More than a decade after its initial Japanese release, Mother 3 finally gets a fully translated western release for Nintendo Switch.

Why It Will Happen: Whether it's part of the Switch's presumably planned Virtual Console or is just straight-up ported as a Switch download, fans have been requesting Mother 3 for long enough that it's beyond a joke and actually likely to happen. Nintendo is well aware of the rabid fan demand and likes money, after all.

With the Switch being an absolute sales monster and a fantastic home for ports, this just feels right.

Why It Might Not: Nintendo might ultimately deem the fans begging for Mother 3 to be a vocal minority and presume that this enthusiasm wouldn't necessarily equate to strong sales, so doing an official translation and release wouldn't be worthwhile. Boo.
